
Alma Motel Policies
- 1. From 1 August 2011 a 20% deposit will be required to confirm any booking with the Alma Motel Wanganui.
- 2. Cancellations made up to 7 days before the booked date incur no charges. Thereafter, the deposit may be retained. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in the total amount for the booked accommodation being charge.
- 3. To confirm a reservation, Alma Motel holds a 20% deposit, a valid credit card number with expiry date, a bank direct credit or a cleared cheque. Non guaranteed Reservations are released at 5 PM.
- 4. Check-in is available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or check-out is by arrangement only.
- 5. Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on the day of departure (if not already done so). Overdue/recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid on time.
- 6. Visitors: No visitors are allowed in rooms after 9pm. Any damage to the room or property may be charged, plus a charge for any resultant loss of income if applicable.
- 7. Smoking is not allowed in any of the Motel accommodation or designated 'No Smoking areas.' If you do smoke in non permitted areas, then you will be charged appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges.
- 8. Promotions & Discounts: Unless stated otherwise promotions and dicsounts cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions and discounts. E.G. a Free breakfast offered on this website cannot be claimed along with a Free breakfast offered in a different media for the same booking.
- 9. Group Booking PolicyA 20% deposit is required to confirm reservation. The deposit is non-refundable for cancellation or alteration to the booking that reduces the number of days. people or units.
Typically, for your convenience quotes are done on a per person per day basis.
If units are cancelled and not resold then you are liable to pay the full tariff. Provided that the unit is resold at the full tariff then a refund will be given.
Please do not make a reservation or pay the deposit if you are unsure of dates required or number of people to be accommodated. If you are a group organiser it would be to your advantage to receive a financial commitment from those on whose behalf you are making a reservation.
A bond of $200 per group is required for Sports Groups.
Bookings that are not confirmed with a deposit or valid credit card details can be replaced with confirmed bookings at any time. Please ensure all group bookings are confirmed with a 20% deposit or valid credit card to avoid disappointment.
